ALTAR SERVERS' GUILD.

HAMILTON. Friday

A chapter of the Guild of the Servants of the Sanctuary has been formed in connection with the Church of England in Hamilton. The objects of tho guild are to raise the spiritual tone, to promote a. disinterested and conscientious performance of the duties of altar servers, and to encourage frequent attendance at the Holy Eucharist iri addition to times of duty i-iid to promote friendship and brotherhood among members. The Diocesan Guild of Altar Servers was formed last year, but has now been merged into the world-wide organisation of the Guild of the Servants of the Sanctuary. The Rev. .T. Adams, vicar of Okato, has been appointed chaplain of the Hamilton Chapter and Mr. N. Bell secretary.
