Dr. and Mrs. Keith Goldgatc, who recently* arrived from London, will leave for Dunedin to-day. ,•

Mr. and Mrs. R. Bell, of Napier, and Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Upton, of Kohumaru, are at the Royal Hotel.

Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Hicks, of Invercargill, and Mr. and Mrs. R. Currie, of Napier, are at the Star Hotel.

Mr. I. T. Fallwell, at present assistant clerk, has been appointed clerk of the Magistrate's Court at Waihi in succession to Mr. T. Morgan, who has been transferred to a similar position at Dargaville^

Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., of Auckland, who has been on a health-recruiting visit to Great Britain and the Continent, .returned to Wellington by the Rangitane from Southampton last evening. Mr. McKean is expected to arrive in Auckland during the week-end.

Mr. S. 0. Crick, managing" director of Fox Films in Australia and New Zealand, and Mrs. Crick, accompanied byMr. E. C. Rutledge, manager in .New Zealand, and Mr. P. Hance and Mr., R. Vaughan, 'of'-Sydney, arrived at Auckland yesterday and are at the Grand Hotel.

Sir James Hamilton, chairman and managing director of the Yorkshire Insurance Company, and Lady Hamilton returned to Auckland last evening after' touring the Dominion, and are at the g Grand Hotel. They will leave for Sydney by the Niagara on Tuesday. Sir James Hamilton was accompanied on the tour by Mr. T. Sadler, the company's superin r tendent in Australia and New Zealand, Mrs. Sadler and Mr. Arthur E. Moore, the Auckland manager. '■%%. ' '
