SHEFFIELD SHIELD MATCH.

(Received January 20, 11.55 p.m.) BRISBANE, Jan. 20. In the Sheffield Shield cricket match South Australia v. Queensland, the home side in their first innings made 1% runs. Wall took three wickets for 37 runs, Whitfield three for 49 and Grimmett four for 83.

South Australia in their second innings had made 216 for eight wickets when stitmps were drawn (Richardson 96, Grimmett 53).
