McCONACHY DEFEATS SMITH.
LONDON, Dec. 19. • Clark McConachy (New Zealand) defeated Willie Smith in their billiards match by 23,107 points to 22,666. _McConacbv made breaks of 491 and 444, and Smith breaks of 526 and 510. Ther.e wasa keen finish. Smith, fighting to the last, was within 150 points of McConachy jn the afternoon. Against Davis Lindrum has scored 15,600, including breaks of 1761 and 502. Davis (in play) has made 12,074, including breaks of 623 and 634. A feature of Lindrum's play was his 33rd break of l over 1000. He compiled 1761 ii> 83 minutes. It included 71 close cannons.
