MAN CHASED ALONG BEACH.:

A huge sea lion, with bared teeth, rose out of the sea at Crookhaven Bight, near Nowra, New South Wales, and leapt at Mr. Ray White, a fisherman. Mr. White was startled bv a deep roar and a loud solash a few yards away, a" saw the gaping mouth of the sea lion ma * ing straight for him. Dropping his ru White rushed out of the water, with t«« beast in pursuit. As Mr. White rac along the sands it still followed. Attracted bv the loud bellowing a near-by camp > armed with a rifle, hurried to the seem and despatched the morster.
