CLOTHES BURNED OFF.
FIRE AT PETROL PUMPS. MAN'S TERRIBLE ORDEAL. . . « (Received December T, 5.5 p.m.) ADELAIDE, Dec. 1. While a heated motor-lorry was having its tank filled with petrol Mr. J. Hinsev lit a, match. The fumes of the petrol reached his clothing, which caught fire. Mr. Hinsey ran across the road and knocked against the hose of the petrol pump. Blazing spirit soon enveloped the lorry and four nearby pumps. It was quelled by means of chemicals. Mr. Hinsey's clothing was burned off, but he refused to go to hospital. He is expected to recover.
