SAFE BLOWN OPEN.
CRIMES IN DIUNEDIN.
[by telegraph—press association.] DUNEDIN, Sunday.
Following an unsuccessful attempt to blow open the strongroom of the Caversham post office on Thursday night the premises of Messrs. Cossens and Black, Crawford Street, were entered last night and the safe blown open. Until a balance is taken the amount stolen will not be known, but it is thought to be small*
