AUCKLAND FUR CLUB FORMED
An Auckland Fur" Club to foster the rabbit industry was formed at' a wellattended meeting in tho Empire Buildings, Swanson Street, yesterday. - The opinion was expressed that the scientific services of the Government should be- extended to the industry, as was done in other countries. An interesting exhibit was a Danish spinning wheel for Angora wool, recently exported from England. .. ... The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. A. G-. Sainsbury,; vicepresidents, Miss A. Taylor, Mr. E. Gray and Mr. Haywood; committee, Mesdames A. S. Hawley, A. Brown, Bartlctt and Culter, Misses A. Perrin and Keller and Messrs. W. 11. Clark, H. P. Perrin, Wilson, Smodley and Gray.
