WORK OF RELIEF ENDED.
COMMITTEE'S FINAL MEETING.

The final meeting of the committee which conducted relief for sufferers in the March floods was held this morning when it was reported that all the work had been completed. The total sum subscribed was £9713, of which the Government gave £3OOO. The total expenses of the committee over this period were only £192.
