The Forbury Park Trotting Club's Spring Meeting was opened to day in fine weather. The track was heavy after the recent rain, but improved during tiie day. The attendance was swollcd by many visitors in town for (lio Agricultural and Pastoral Show. Tho totnlisator handled £24,321, compared with .£19,383 10s on tho first day last year. Results were;—
