RING AND MONEY STOLEN.
THEFT BY YOUNG MAN. The thfcft of a diamond ring, valued at £3O, and £1 in money, the property of Isabel Paterson, was admitted by Edward Holder Mclnfyre, aged 21. a painter, in the Police Court yesterday before Mr. F. K Hunt, S.M. Chief-Detect ive Hammond said accused was working at tbo residence of Dr. J. A. Paterson, Mount Albert, and he stole the ring and money from the dressing room of Mrs. Paterson. He pledged the ring for £4.
Accused was remanded until next Friday for sentence, pending a report from the probation oilicer, Mr. W. J. Campbell.
