OPERATIONS AT. HAMILTON. [B* TELEGRATH —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] HAMILTON, Wednesday.. The annual meeting of the Hamilton branch of the British and Foreign Bible Society was held last evening, the Rev. H. G. Gilbert presiding. The annual report stated that during tho year 17 branches had been operated from Hamilton and a now branch opened at Taupiri. A sum of £282 had been collected, this amount being £4O in excess of tho fund collected in tho previous year.
Tho Dominion secretary of the society, the Rev. U. Calder, said that since tho opening of the branch seven years ago the annual collection had increased from £76 to £282. Tho electioa of officers resulted President, Mrs. Stephenson Craig; vice-presi-dents, Mrs. W. Eraser, and Messrs. T. White, E. V. Staco' and F. Findlay; treasurer, Mr. C. L. MacDiarinid; organising secretary, Miss B. Henry.
