TOUR OF AUSTRALIA. £IOOO PROFIT FOR NEW ZEALAND. SYDNEY, Nov. 27. The New Zealand Cricket Council will profit to the extent of about £IOOO from the English cricketers' tour of Australia. Four members of the visiting team are not to go to Brisbane. They are Woolley, Bowley, Cornford and Earle. The first three will leave for New Zealand on Friday. Earle is to wait in Sydney until the team comes back from Brisbane. Ten men will go north and Ducat will complete the side. A message from London says the secretary of the Marylebone Cricket Club states that he can see no reason why Ducat should not be invited to play for the English team against Queensland provided that the Brisbane Club can release him.
