LATE MR. W. M. PASSMORE.

COMRADES PAY RESPECTS. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] KAITAIA. Thursday. Beforo the commerce train left Kaikohe this morning the whole party, with Mr. 11. F. Guy, president, and other members of the Kaikohe Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. A, Wigmore, president, and members of the Okaihoa branch of'the Chamber of Commerce, proceeded from the train to the Courthouse, as a mark of respect to the -late Mr. W. M. Passmore, who died yesterday, and followed tlio coflin to the station, where it was placed on the Auckland .train. The pall-bearers were Mr, Malcolm Stewart, vice-president of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, Mr, A, 0. Lunn, past president, Mr. L. A. Paish, British Trade Commissioner, Mr. C. M. Croft, Canadian - Trade Commissioner, Mr. E. Casey, divisional superintendent of .railways, and Mr. F. Harrison.
