ELECTRIC EXPLOSION.
CABLE NEAR VICTORIA PARK.
Minor damage to the pavement resulted from an electric cable explosion which occurred in front of the Campbell Free Kindergarten, near Victoria Park, shortly heforo three o'clock yesterday afternoon. The Auckland Power Board was quickly advised, and within ten minutes of the explosion the current had been switched off. No one was in the vicinity at the time of the explosion.
