MAY COME TO AUCKLAND.
The nuestion of engaging A. Blair, the South Sydney Rugby League player, as a * has been discussed by members of the New Zealand Rugby League, which, it is understood, is awaiting a reply from Blair. Tho Sydney five-eighths has had a wide experience.as an international, and at different times has successfully coached Australian country League clubs. Last' season Blair was at Longreach, in Central Queensland, at a salary of £ls a week. The council's decision to definitely engage Blair would meet with the approval of followers of the code. His experience would considerably improve back play, where the individuals shino and team work is overlooked. Blair's advice would be invaluable on account of the tour of Australia next season by ft Aew Zealand team.
