A meeting to form a women's branch Gf. the United Political Association was ' held by the women of the Eden elector- •- in the Methodist Hall, Dominion Road, ori Thursday. Mrs. N. von Sturtoer, honorary organiser of the women's ' brunches, presided over a successful and enithusiastic gathering. Mrs. von gsturmer gave an address on BiJitters conceraing the party and electorIt was decided to hold meetings ttonthly, and arrangements were made for a social evening at an early date. The following officers were elected:— President, Mrs. Simmons; vice-presidents, Mrs. Matthews and Mrs. Goble; secretary, "" Goodall • treasurer, Mrs. Wilson. A . committee of 15 was also chosen.
