VALUELESS CHEQUES.

TWO CHARGES ADMITTED. [IIY TELEGRAPH. —OWN COR RESPONDENT.] HAMILTON,„ Friday. Two charges of obtaining money by issuing valueless cheques were admitted by Charles Mozart Spinley in the Hamilton Magistrate's Court to-day. Detective-Sergeant Thompson said that accused had obtained two service car tickets valued at £1 17s 6d and £6 in change by issuing a cheque for £l6 to Molly Elizabeth Orr at Tauranga on March 30. The second offence was committed at Lower Butt, where accused had obtained £l4 0s 6d from a dealer, Charles Frederick Piicher. by issuing a cheque for £lB 10s. Accused was sentenced in the Hamilton Court on Wednesday to six months' imprisonment for a similar offence. The magistrate, Mr. Wyvern Wilson, passed sentence of six months' imprisonment on (ho two charges, to be served concurrently with the term imposed on Wednesday.
