PRINCE OF WALES' DINNER

Australian and N.Z. Press Association. (Received October 13, 9.05 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 15. Less than 200 holders of tho Victoria Cross have been traced in connection with tho dinner to be given by the Princo of Wales on November 9. It is feared that many of them will be deterrcd from attending owing to poverty. An anonymous donor has given £SO, and has offered more if it should be wanted, to help those who are qualified to attend tho dinner. Also, ho says, he will provide railway fares and suits. Tho Prince has intimated that he will wear a lounge suit at tho dinner.
