EMPLOYERS' ASSOCIATION.
oELECTION OF OFFICERS. At a meeting of tho recently-appointed executive committee of tho Auckland Employers' Association yesterday Mr. Albort Spencer was reappointed president for a further term of office. Members present referred to the largo amount of time and energy devoted by Mr. Spencer to the work of the association and attributed its progress and financial stability very largely to his efforts. Mr. ?pencer, in returning thanks, spoke of great assistance given him by tho two retiring vice-presidents, Messrs. 'J. S. Dawes and J. C. Entrican, whom he proposed should be re-elected. In accepting office, both Mr. Dawes and Mr. Entrican spoke of the harmony with which the work of the association was carried out and said it was a pleasure to sit at meetings witli tho president and committee. Tho finance committee consisting of the president, vice-presidents and Messrs. «T. Lowo and C. W; Goles was also reelected;
