The final of tho Auckland Football Association's Senior Division Cup was decided at Blandford I'ark last evening under floodlight, when Y.M.C.A. defeated Belmont by G goals to 1. Tho weather was showery,, but tho underfoot conditions were good. Following were tho teams:— Y.M.C.A.—Billiard, Mowatt. Otter, Malcolm, Chapman, Riddolls. Bartloy, Ross, Humphreys, C'lanachau, McAuslan. Belmont.—Wylio, Keinp, Litbgow, Buohan, A. Bach, M." Bach, Cleal, AVoodall, McLennan, Austin, Allen. Right from tho commencement Y.M.C.A. attacked, and n period of fast exchanges ml Belmont's half was finalised when Chapman heat Wylio from lons rango. Belmont: quickly retaliated* having Otter and Mowat defending hard until a free kick relieved tho pressure. Bart-ley whipped in a- couple of nice centres, which were not taken advantage of; then Belmont attacked, per medium of Cleal and "VVoodall. 'Hie movement. took play right to the Y.M.C.A. goalmouth, and Woodall had llilhard reaching for a first-time shot. CONTROL BOARD MEETING.

CAPS FOR REPRESENTATIVES. The control hoard of tho Auckland Football Association met last evening, the chairman, Mr. A. Meuzies, presiding. Mr. P. Furuell offered to present tho Auckland representatives with a set of caps. The offer was accepted, and Mr. Furnell thanked for his generosity. It was decided to hold a special general meeting in the Y.M.C.A. on October 28. A special sub-committeo is to bo set up to go into the question of arranging excursions during tho off season, the objoct being to keep tho club officials, playors and supporters of the code together during the summer months. SOUTH AUCKLAND FIXTURES. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] 'HAMILTON, Tuesday. The committee of the South Auckland Football Association met at Hamilton last evening. The principal business was consideration of a protest from tho Huntly Club against the result of its championship match last Saturday against Claudelands Rovers. One Claudelands player was alleged to bo ineligible, but tho complaint was dismissed as tho player had produced Ire clearance papers from Manawatu before taking part in matches in the Waikalo, and had also observed the residential qualifications. , The referee of tho match reported two Huntly players. It was 1 decided that an inquiry into the matte* - b& held next MondaMr. James Wallace. Huntly, was appointed to referee the South Auckland championship final match between Te Aroha and Claudelands Rovers at Hamilton next Saturday.

YACHTING.

RICHMOND CRUISING CLUB.

The annual meeting of the Richmond Cruising Club was held last evening, the president. >lr. J. Donald, presiding over a good attendance. Tho commodore, Mr. T. L. Thompson, said tbe past season had been an excellent one. a feature being tho annual regatta, which produced large entries and kec:: rating. The question of the club amalgamating with the I'onsonby Cruising. Club had bean discussed by both committeen. Two conferences were held, and the .Richmond committeo decided not to go any further with tho proposal. Now this decision had been reached the speaker asked all prcsont to do their best for the Richmond Club. The chairman said he was very pleased the amalgamation of tho two clubs did not come about. Tho Richmond Club had bean established 22 years, and ho hoped it would carry on for all time as a separate body. Tho balance-sheet showed a profit of £ls on tho year's working. Tho election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. W. J. Holdsworth: vicepatron, Mr. J. Longbottom: president, Mr. J. Donald; vice-presidents, same as last year with tho addition of Mr. R. Francis; commodore. Mr. T. L. Thompson; vice-commo dore. Mr. G. Smith; rear-comirodoro, Mr. R. Judd; secretary, Mr. R. J. Thompson; treasurer, Mr. P. Downs; committee, Messrs. T. Bell, J. Sutherland. W. McCullough, R. Thompson, R. Judd, T. Hay, J. Wilcox, W. Herdegen, G. Humby, I. Dennis; delegates to Auckland Yacht and Motor Boat Association, Messrs. R. Judd and J. Wilcox; sailing committee, Messrs. T. Bell, F. Downs and E. Hayes. Messrs. G. E. Laycock and W. A. Wilkinson were elected honorary members of the club. Mr. Donald donated SS toward club funds, and also offered a medal as an aggregate prizo for tho boat securing tho moat number of points during the season. A .valuable) cup, to be 'won outright, was also presented by Mr. Longbottom.
