REPORTS OF MANAGERS. Hanraki.—ln the stopea on the Stockwood reef nt tlie 400 ft. level, the reef is being broken clown, and a fow pounds of specimen stono have been selected from near the point where the last gold was obtained. The general oro from here is shnping fairly well nt the battery, rising: at this point is under way, and sloping in both directions is in progress. Mining operations at present are confined to sloping and rifling in this block. Tui.—The mine manager reports that during the week ended September 29, work at No. 2 level was proceeded with. The ground is fairly heavy. Soma atone underfoot near the end of the level, about CSft. in, was tried and a very nice prospect secured.
