REVENUE OF THE PORT.
YEAR'S INCREASE £IO,OOO. GRAND TOTAL OF £396,000. The Auckland. Harbour Board's cash receipts for the financial year 1928-29, which closed on September 30, show an increase of £10,532 over those for 1927-28, and a surplus of £10,284 over the estimate for the period. The total was £396,583, compared with £386,051 in the preceding year. Of tho increase in revenue, £IO,IOO is in respect of the Waitemala Harbour and £432 in respect of the Manukau Harbour. Tho respective totals for 1928-29 weie £388,913 and £7670. The following were tho principal items of revenue for the Waitemata Harbour. 1928. 1029. Ji. •£. F. Garratt, on tho expedition which ho had shown in getting out tho figures two days after .tho close of tho year, and on tho closeness of his estimate of revenue.
