DEPARTURE OF BRITISH. FRIENDLY GERMAN PEOPLE. United Service. LONDON. Sept. 29. Tlio Wiesbaden correspondent of the Daily News states that as tlio British flap: was hauled down for the last time at the Konigstoin barracks before tho departure of the rearguard of the Leicestershire.* a Gorruan band played " Old Comrades." The town was soon bedecked in the German Republican colours, but there was no other sign of rejoicing. Some of the townspeople openly expressed their regret at the departuro of the British troops.
