WAIHI FIRE BRIGADE.
INSPECTION BY MR. HUGO.
TRIBUTE TO EFFICIENCY.

WAIHI, Friday
The Government inspector of fire brigades, Mr. T. Hugo, paid an official visit to Waihi' last evening and inspected the local brigade at drill and in fire practice. Following the inspection Mr. Hugo paid a high tribute to the efficiency of the brigade force and made reference to the splendid attendance at both drill and fires, which "he said almost constituted a record for country brigades.
