A TRIP TO SYDNEY.
Having just returned home after » pleasant trip to Sydney, I thought I would write and tell " Boy 6 and Girls" about some oi the interesting things I saw while I was thore.
While going into j tha Sydney Harbour I saw tho wonderful bridge.. It is certainly very large. It is so funny to seb the men working on it, they look just, like tiny ants moving about on it, so high up id tho air. ■ The Central Railway Station is a hugs place, with its ZO plat forms. There is always a great cr< ;vd of people on it, especially in tho six o'clock rush. There is a board on which are written all the different times trains leave and what stations they stop at, etc. Really, it is a great place. There are hundreds of shops in Sydney, including mixed shops, diapers, lur shops, jewellers, sweet shops and many others. And instead of there being only one main street, as in Auckland, there are dozens. Really, it makes you think Auckland is very small. One day w« went across in the ferry to Taronga Park where the zoo is. The zoo, of course, is much larger than the Auckland one, but I dou't think it is anv nicer.
But they have sn aquarium there, which they have not got here. The different kinds of fish are great. They also have a shark and sea-leopard in a pond there. They are also wonderful. A visit to Sydney is a great education for any country boy, and l am very glad I was able to make the trip. —From Rex Orr, Pukekawa (1!! mark?).
