MARRIED MAN CONVICTED.
" Ho is a decent man, hut ho has had domestic trouble and took to drink, as is often the case in those circumstances." said Sub-Inspector McCarthy when Joseph Gray, aged 4.1, a labourer, appeared beforo Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., in the Polico Court yesterday, charged with being found drunk in Mars toil Street, Parnell, and with using indecent language. "He lias four children, and he is prepared to lake out a prohibition order immediately," Mr. McCarthy added. Gray, who pleaded guilty to both charges, was convicted and ordered to pay costs for drunkonnoss. On the charge of using indecent language lie was convicted and discharged on the condition that he took out a prohibition order.
