SUPPLIES FROM THE NORTH. [BY TELEGEAPH. —O'.VN COR RESPONDS XT. 3 DUNEDIN, Monday. Another shipment of beef tor local butchers arrived at. Dnnedin direct from the North Island by the Holmdale tins morning. It was in excellent condition and the quality was exceptionally good. In anticipation of the continued scarcity of prime cattle and the approacn <>t warmer weather, negotiations are being made to ship live cattle from the North Island. The trip from Wolhncton to Dunedin occupies the average time of ob hours, so that it does not take much longer than to rail the cattle from various parts of Qtago to Burnside.
