SPEED-BOAT RACING.
SEGRAVE'S PERFORMANCE.
WINNER OF TWO EVENTS.

Sir Henry Segrave won Count Volli's cup as tho result of two speed-boat races to-day at the Lido. In tho morning ho led from the start to tho finish in a fourlaps' race totalling 12£ miles. The average speed of his boat, Miss England, was 68 miles an hour and his best lap was done at a rate of 77 miles an hour.
Miss America V., piloted by Count Ruspoli (Italy) averaged 57 miles an hour.
In tho afternoon Miss England covered a six-laps' courso of 20 miles in 16 minutes 2 2-5 seconds. Tho average speed was 70 miles an hour and the best lap 74 miles.
Miss Amorica V. was withdrawn in tho second lap.
