REMOVAL OF SAND.
A PROHIBITED AIJEA. A charge of removing sand from a prohibited area on the Manukau foreshore was brought by the Auckland Harbour Board against William John White (Mr. Goodall) in the Onehnaga Police Court yesterday before Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M. Mr. Goodall admitted the offence. He said that defendant's barge had been carried inshore and stranded in the prohibited area, from which the sand had been taken. The magistrate imposed a fine of £2 and costs. "
