Taupiri to Cambridge and Te Awamutu inclusive: Minimum, 1/6 per consignment. Goods for FRANKTON JN. f HAMILTON AND CAMBRIDGE charged at the above rates will, with the undermentioned exceptions, be DELIVERED FREE within the business areas by any local licensed carrier (not in competition with the Railway Department) nominated by the consignee. EXCEPTIONS TO FREE DELIVERY. Pianos, motor-cars in cases, plate glass, household removals, aeroplanes, boats, empty tanks, theatrical luggage and scenery, contractors' plant, vehicles, any package exceeding 7cwt. in weight or 20ft. in length, bulky creamery or freezing vats, show exhibits. Business firms who take delivery of goods from Frankton Jn., Hamilton, or Cambridge with their own lorries will be allowed an amount equal to that which would be paid to a carrier if the goods were delivered by the Department. Firms whose premises are outside the business areas will be similarly treated.
