He left tho farmer, but several minutes later returned, and asked him whether ho could change a £2O note. • Tho farmer took from his pocket £2O in small notes and three £lO notes. Ho offered tho stranger £2O, but tho man said that £lO would bo onough. He took a £lO noto, and went into tho building. Tho farmer waited for an hour, and then reported tho matter to the police.
