AUCKLAND POWER BOARD.

PAKURANGA RETICULATION.

A report upon the reticulation of tho Pakurnnga district was submitted to tho Auckland Powor Board by tho general manager, Mr. R» H. Bartlcy, at yesterday's meeting. •' Unfortunately the demands of the district are very widely scattered and there docs not appear to be any likelihood of the district becoming self-sup-porting if reticulated," stated the general manager. "We have had numerous re* quests from certain of the residents that this work be undertaken and the district has been canvassed on two or three occasions, but the results havo not been encouraging." Consideration of the matter was deferred for a week to enable a deputation to bo heard next Monday.
