DECISIONS OF THE BOARD.

[RY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] . TAURANGA, Saturday.

The Tauranga Hospital Board, at its meeting this week, granted the medical superintendent of the Tauranga Hospital, Dr. J. B. McDiarmid, leave of absence for nine months as from early next year. Dr. L. Randcll, of New Plymouth, will act as superintendent during Dr. McDiarmid's absence.

The question of disposing of the board's old hospital property at Te Puke was referred to a committee. The board decided to forward to the Director-General of Health particulars of additions required at the Te Puke maternity hospital. Tho board adopted a motion asking the Health Department to send an officer to investigate and report upon the question of accommodation for the staff at the Tauranga Hospital.
