MacDONALD'S MISSION. VISIT FIXED FOR OCTOBER. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. NEW YORK, Aug. 21. ■ A message from Washington says it is authoritatively stated that the Prime Minister of Britain, Mr. MacDonakl, is ondoavouring to hurry his visit to the United Stales,
A despatch from London indicates that Mr. Mac Donald will arrive at Washington in the first week of October, lie is expected to remain about a fortnight.
Plans for his reception are being made. It has not yet been decided whether lie will be the guest of the President, Mr. Hoover, or the British Ambassador, Sir Lsme Howard.
