ELECTION OF OFFICERS.

HAMILTON, Thursday,
Tho Hamilton Retailers' Association hold its annual meeting last evening. All branches of tho trade were represented. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr. N. 11. Hooker; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Norman and D. Sellar; executive, Messrs. W. M. C'ann, S. Dabb, H. L. Ross, F. Vickory, T. White, N. G. Mills, F." G. Watson, A. G. San ford. Tho system of cash order trading was discussed, and a resolution was carried unanimously condemning the system, and urging the members not to employ it.
