ROSE ROAD TRAM STOP.
Sir,—l would like the opportunity of explaining my attitude regarding above at the Onchunga Borough Council meeting. Briefly, I stated as a member of the Royal Oak School Committee, iho main desire for a tram stop at Rose Road was in consideration of tlio school children, and 1 recommended that the stop remain where it is at Niranna Road, but "that tho 'transport Hoard be asked to have a stop at Rose Road while children were going to and from school, viz., from 8.30 to 9 a.m. and from 3 to 3.30 p.m." 'This motion was carried unanimously by tho council. I feel sure if the Transport Board agreed to this it would meet the position (Tliero is now a similar stop in Remuera Road) and satisfy the people in the locality. S. Vella. Onchunga Borough Councillor.
