AUCKLAND CLUB'S EVENTS. The Auckland Amateur 'Athletic Club conducted oup of tho most successful of its meetings at the Domain on Saturday, when two running and two field events were decided. The 75yds. sprint, run in two heats, resulted in n, close win for C. R. Wilson, with L. Barker and C. Torbelt in tlio minor places. The sis miles steeplechase proved an extremely arduous race, heavy rain throughout, tho first three miles and a muddy track making tho going difficult. .T. W. Savidan ran a brilliant race. After conceding start 3 up to IJm lie just failed to reach Rodgers, who won by a. bare syds F. L. Whitten also ran well and was tho next t'> finish. _ Following are the results: 75Yds.
