THE MUMBLE HORSERADISH.
In some dusty, neglected corner of a field, or even by tho roadside,, grows an ugly, unassuming plant, that, when gathered and rightly used, becomes tho delight of tho epicure.
This is tho humble horseradish. There are many ways of using it—just washed and peeled and grated and eaten with beef, or as horseradish sauco. Experiment with it in a salad, or as part of the hors d'oeuvro, or grated finely over potted meat for sandwiches, and you will never look down on your liumblo friend again.
