SOCIAL EVENING.
On Thursday the Bayswater-Belmont Women's Society held a very successful social evening at the home of the president, Mrs. F. E. N. Gaudin, of Norwood Road, Bays water. . Impromptu speeches !>y the guests caused much merriment and the winner, Mrs. R. Harrison, made a very witty speech oi " Love." Songs ami musical items were given by Mrs. Waddell,■ Mrs. Maokin, Mrs. Williamson and Mrs. Davies. The competitions were won by Mrs. Francis. Mrs. Brinsdcn and Mrs. Harrison. Supper served by the ladies of tho committee brought a very cheery evening to a close. Among those present were: Mrs. Gaudin, Mrs. L. L. Rabbidge, Mrs. W Thomas, Mrs. Fran cis, Mrs. A. Gyde, .Mrs. Brady. Mrs. I* M. Mackav, Mrs. Powell, Mrs. Harrison, Mrs. Ramband, Mrs Waddell. Miss Waddell, Miss Dick. Mrs W. White, Mrs. Thomas, senr. Mrs. Edwards, Miss Feavcr, Miss Thomas, Mrs. A. L. Browne, Mrs Davies, Mrs. Blampied, Mrs. Kirkham Mrs. Mackin, Mrs. Hawkesworth senr. Mrs Inkster, Mrs. Hawkesworth, junr., Mrs VTilliamson, Mrs. McDuff, Mrs. Brinsden and Miss Pickworth.
