WEDDINGS.

MILLER—FORDH AM. The wedding, was solemnised at Si. Paul's Cathedral, Wellington, on Tuesday evening, of Dr. E. T. Gordon Miller, younger son of .Mrs. and Ihe late Dr. Miller, of Norwich, England, and Miss Phyllis Alexii Fordham, only daughter of Mrs. and'the late Mr. C. P.. Fordham, of ' Kelburn. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. Stanley Fordham, and wore a picture frock of bine chiffon velvet drooping at the sides, with flared flounces from the waist, and a diainento bow on the left side of the bodice. The blue veil was held in place by a slender wreath of orange blossom. A bouquet of pink flowers was carried, fastened with long streamers. The only bridesmaid was Miss Bebe Francis, of Masterton, who wore a rose pink georgette frock with anklelength circular skirt, with a flat shoulder l bow of the bride's blue, dropping to the bottom of the skirt at the back. A wide felt hat with a soft satin bow of blue on one sido was also worn. Mr. Leslie Johnson was best man. After the ceremony a small reception was held at the residence of the bride's mother, who received wearing a black satin frock and widebrimmed black hat. SPEAR—SIMMONS. The wedding was celebrated at St. Alban's Church, Dominion Road, Mount Eden, by the Rev. A. J. Greenwood, of Miss'lnez Adelaide Simmons, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clias. Simmons, and Mr. William Frederick Spear, only son of Mrs. W. Spear. Kakahi. The bride, who was given away by her grandfather, Mr. Chas. Simmons, wore a white embossed satin frock with georgette panels at the sides, caught with a spray of orange blossom. Tier Brussels net veil was held with clusters of orange blossoms, and she carried a shower bouquet of white and pink flowers. The bridesmaid. Miss Given dolin Bartleet. wore a frock of apple grivm georgette with plain bodice* and frilled skirt. A picturesque brige crinoline hat was also worn, and she carried a bouquot of autumn tints. The bridegroom was attended bv Mr. William C. Pardy, as best man. After the wedding ceremony a reception was held at the Domain Kiosk. The bride's grandmother received the gUQsts in a frock of beige crepe fleuri, with brown marmot coat and hat to match. She carried a posy of violets and daphne.
