MR. ANDREW WEST. [iSY TKLEGRArn. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] MORRINSVILLE. Friday. The death occurred suddenly at Piako of Mr. Andrew West, a well-known Morrinsvillo resident, at the age of 78. Mr. West was born in Scotland, and when 24 years of age. emigrated to Australia. He came to New Zealand nearly 40 years ago and farmed at l'almerston North and Stratford. Thirteen years ago• he camo to Thames Valley. Mr. West travelled to all quarters of the ivorld at different times. Ho is survived by three sons and one daughter. MR. R. D. VEITCH. [BY TELEGRAPH. —mESS ASSOCIATION - .] DUNEDIN. Friday. The death occurred in Dunedin to-day of Mr. R. D. Veitcli, aged 61, formerly district telegraph engineer. He was a brother of the Hon. W. A. Veitch, Minister of Labour. MR. A. G. SIMPSON. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRFSS ASSOCIATION.] MARTON, Friday. The death has occurred of Mr. Alexander 0. Simpson, chairman of the Rangitikei County Council, aged 65 years. Ho was prominently identified with numerous local bodies, lie was a son of the Into Hon. R. K. Simpson, and was at one time ono of the foremost athletes in tho Dominion.
