DANCING.
The Point Chevalier Sailing Club will hold its annual prize distribution and dance in the pavilion. Joan Street, Point Chevalier, this evening Mrs. Lloyd's orchestra will bo in attendance. Another enjoyable dance will be held at Dixieland Cabaret this evening. The Dixieland Dance Band will feature the latest dance numbers, while the 'Dixieland Boys," a troup of New York entertainers. will appear in novel cabaret numbers.
A grand juvenile plain and fancy dress hall will be held m St. Benedict's Hall, Newton, next Thursday evening.
The Akarana Yacht Club will hold its usual weekly dance in the clubhouse. Mechanics' Bay, this evening. A free bus will bo run from Endoan's Buildings. Another "Now Mfo" danco will be held at the Click Clack Cabaret this evening. Special danco and novelty numbers will be given by Clyde Flowlcy and "Liliokalani" and by Miss Gwenth Macnaughton's "Tumblers." Tho proceeds will be donated to tho carthquako relief funds. .
Dancing will bo hold in the Manchester Unity Hall, at the cornet of Victoria and llobson Streets, next Thursday evening Dancing will bo held at tho conclusion of the pictorial programme at tho Moulin Kongo Theatre this evening Mew Jones and his orchestra will render the latest jazz numbers, and an enjoyable evening is anticipated. In addition there will bo special novelties.
