POPULAR FARMER'S DEATH.
FUNERAL OF MR. J. 0. RIMMER
The interment took place at Helens'ville yesterday of the late Mr. J. C. Rimmer, who was gored to death by a bull on his farm at Te l'ua on Wednesday. There was a very large attendance of friends and representatives of local bodies and organisations in which Mr. Rimmer had been interested. The esteem in which he was held was indicated by the presence of mourners who had travelled 50 miles to the funeral.
The cortege left Auckland shortly after noon, and it was joined at several points on the road. A service was held in the Church of England, llelensville.
