BRITISH DEATH DUTIES.
PAYMENT BY LAND MOOTED. GOVERNMENT TO CONSIDER. Australian l'ress Association—United Service LONDON. July 3. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Philip Snowden, in answer to a question in the House of Commons, said he would consider whether it would he in the public interest to permit the Government to accept land in payment of death duties.
