NEW SOCIETY FORMED.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
A largo meeting of egg producers was held in tho Trades Hall last evening, Mr. T. J. Fleming presiding.
For producing tho machinery for efliciently carrying out tho agreement with Newdick 'Brothers, it was unanimously resolved to form a society consisting of all signatories to tho agreement. The society will bo registered under (ho Incorporated Societies Act, 1908, ns tho Poultry Froducers' Products Society, Incorporated.. Signatories to any similar agreement with tho same agents, which, in _ the opinion of the executive of tho society, has tho samo objects as tho agreement signed by members of the society, shall be eligible for membership. Provisional officers were elected as follows: —President. Mr. T. H. S. Evans; vice-presidents, Messrs. Higginbotham and Ayling; treasurer, Mr .Fleming; secretary, Mr. G. S. Hyatt; committee, Messrs. Sehvood, Edgerley, Jansen, Treathy, Drayton, ' Smith, Sclwood, Reals.
Tho president and vice-presidents wero appointed a sub-comraitteo to framo a draft of rules to bo submitted to the consideration of a general meeting,.
