SCULLING CHAMPION.
RELAY ROWERS DEFEATED.
Australian Press Association—United Service LONDON, June 23. Tho world's champion sculler, Bert Barry, in spite of rough water and an injured arm, to-day defeated three, leading tide-way scullers, S. Perrin, R. Dowson and. H. Walford. Each of the defeated men rowed alternately onethird of the distance over the university boat, race course, Putney to Mortlake. In 24m. 235. Barry covered the entire distance, winning every section.
