A meeting of the executive of the Auckland Ladies' Hockey Association was oresided over by Miss P. Dawson, in the presence of a good attendance. Delegates were present from Waihi, Piako and Wait>a. It Was decided not to support a scheme of sending a team to the South African tournament in 1930, but to support an invitation to an overseas team to visits New Zealand, preferably an Australian team. Miss Una Hall was elected to fill the vacancy on the executive caused by the resignation of Miss Brown. Affiliation was granted to the Rodney Association.
Complaints were received regarding the failure 'of playera to wear strictly club uniform, and the grounds committee was instructed to take drastic action in the futuro.
It was decided to hold elimination trials for Country Week teams after games on Juno 22 and to postpone all ordinary gamc3 on Juno 20 to permit an A and B team trial to take place. Transfers were approved as follows: Somerville: L. Clauaet to remain permanently in senior grade. Y.W.C.A.: A. Morrison, from junior to eenior grade. Technical : J. Leach, from junior grade B to junior A.
