KING'S BIRTHDAY GAMES. MOUNT EDEN CLUB'S TOURNEY. There was n large entry for the annual King's Birthday rink tournament held by tho Mount Eden Bowline Club yesterday. Conditions were ideal and there were several interesting games in thu section play. Four rounds wero played in each of tlio four sections, players with byes in one soctiou mooting players with byes in tho next. CARLTON TOURNAMENT. THREE PLAYERS IN FINAL. Eight teams took part in a link tournament on the Carlton green yesterday, several keen games wero played under perfect conditions, and the conclusion of tho section play saw Josey, Wilcox and Gavey equal at. the top, each with four wins and one loss. These players will contest tho finals on Saturday. THE MOUNT ALBERT CLUB. SUCCESSFUL TOURNEY HELD. Section piny in tho King's Birthday tournament, arranged by tho Mount, Albeit Bowling Club was carried out successfully yesterday. There were two sections, each with eight rinks, and five rounds were played in each section. In section A, Wakerley (l?Ocky Nook) and E. Thomas and Stewart (Mount Albert), tied with four wins and one loss each. Wakerlcy beat Thomas in tho play-off and will meet Stewart in tho section final on Saturday. Section B was won outright by Baildon (Mount Albert), with four wins aud ono loas, and he will meet tho winner of section A in tho tournament final on Saturday afternoon. THE DEVONPORT CLUB. CONCLUSION OF SEASON. Tho Devouport Bowling Club brought its season to a close yesterday with a progressive pairs tournament. Scott won tho leads' section and Wrigley and Laselle tied for the skips' section. Following are the results or club events:— Club Championship.—Ellisdon; runner-up. Bailey Junior Championship.—Atkins; runner-up, Newman. Champion Pairs.—Andrews and Anderson; runners-up, Atkins and Ellesdon. Handicap Pairs.—Sinclair and Melville; runners-up, Richards and Palmer.
