ORPHANS' CLUB.
BIRKENHEAD AND NORTHCOTE Tho gathering of tho Birkenhead and Nortlicote Orphans' . Club, held in the Masonic Hall, Northcote, on Saturday evening, was most successful and enjoyable. Tho chairman was Mr. J. OsburneLillv, of tho Auckland. Savage Club. The guests included tho Mayors of Northcote, Mr. A. E. Greenslado, and Birkenhead, Mr. J. P- McPhail. Mr. F. J. E. Godden, of Western Australia, responded on behalf of tho visitors to tho wclcomo extended.
